17:3. கர்த்தர் யோசபாத்தோடிருந்தார்; அவன் பாகால்களைத் தேடாமல், தன் தகப்பனாகிய தாவீது முன்நாட்களில் நடந்த வழிகளில் நடந்து,

17:3. கர்த்தர் யோசாபாத்தோடு இருந்தார். ஏனென்றால் இவனது சிறுவயதில் இவன் தன் முற்பிதாவான தாவீதைப்போன்று நற்செயல்களைச் செய்தான். இவன் பாகால் விக்கிரகங்களைப் பின்பற்றவில்லை.

17:3. The LORD was with Jehoshaphat because he followed in his ancestor David's footsteps at the beginning of his reign. He did not seek the Baals,
